Night Cuddles

You just did the cutest thing. I am in bed next to you as always, playing on the computer. You sat up, looked around for a bit. I was waiting for the inevitable crying. But instead, you laid your head on my arm and wrapped your tiny hand around it. I wish I had a camera, but even if I did, the flash would wake you and it's just too adorable to wreck.

I know these days of you being little are so short, and I promise I'll write more often so we can both look back on these times.

I sometimes lay in bed next to you staring at you as you sleep. After a long day of wrangling Brecken and carrying you around all day (since you hate being put down) I am happy to get some me-time, even though it usually means I have to get the dishes done, laundry, sweep, etc. Sometimes I lay there with you, knowing the dishes will be there tomorrow, but you will not always be laying next to me, so content and your legs perched upon mine. When I do go off to get stuff done, I always am so happy to be able to slide into bed right next to you. I have to scoot you over so I have enough room, then I pull my pillow down next your head and cuddle right up next to you. I love love love night time with you and my heart aches because I know it will fly by and will one day just be a distant memory. But right now it's my favorite thing in the whole world.

2 Months!

Today I turned two months old! Mommy made me play photoshoot to document my milestone, and I smiled a lot. We celebrated by drinking some milk, and cuddling all day long. (My two most favorite things!) We also watched a hockey game. Two months is pretty awesome :)
